Clear Aligners

Candid Aligners:
Candid aligners are a newer alternative to Invisalign. They are a series of clear, removable aligners made from a smooth plastic material that gradually move your teeth into the desired position as you wear them. The process is much the same as Invisalign, you must replace the aligners every couple of weeks and wear them for at least 22 hours daily. Like Invisalign, Candid aligners can be used for both adults and teens.
One of the major differences between Invisalign and Candid aligners is that with Candid aligners the need for use of attachments (tiny bums on your teeth) is completely eliminated or significantly reduced. Invisalign Aligners:
Invisalign is a brand of clear, removable aligners that gradually straighten teeth. The aligners are made of a flexible material called SmartTrack, and are designed to be less noticeable than traditional braces. Invisalign treatment involves wearing the aligners 20–22 hours a day, only removing them to eat, brush, and floss

As technology has advanced, so has the traditional braces system. Self-ligating brackets are made from the same materials as traditional braces, but they differ in how each component works together to move teeth into place. The key to self-ligating braces is that there is no need for elastic ties that attach to the brackets and hold the wire in place. Instead, these brackets use an integrated clip system to place them more quickly and efficiently than traditional braces.

A consultation in our practice is a thorough and comfortable experience. We will evaluate your child’s teeth, facial structure, and any existing dental issues to create the best effective treatment plan for success. After that, X-rays are performed to see whether any underlying pathology could interfere with the treatment.
